Emarat Al Youm has learned that Al Wahda Football Club has reached a preliminary agreement with Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim, formerly of Al Ahli and Al Ain youth teams. A source close to the coach confirmed that Jardim has agreed to take charge of "Al-Annabi", with the contract extending until the end of the next season. The source noted that the Portuguese coach will begin his tenure with Al Wahda by leading the team against Burayri in the 15th round of the ADNOC Pro League, scheduled for February 5 at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Portuguese coach Dimas Teixeira will continue to lead "Al-Annabi" in their match against Dibba on the day after tomorrow in the 14th round of the league, having guided the team in eight matches on a temporary basis since his compatriot Jose Mourinho left to coach Sharjah.
